BECAUSE WE KNOW IT WORKS!!

Information Seminar and Workshop For Parents

Come and join inspirational Primary School Teacher, author and founder of Literate Kids, Kerry Whitney.

For many of us, it has been a while since we attended school, so it’s a bit of a shock when our child comes home from school with a problem, and you try to help them, only to be told “That’s not how we do it in class!”.

So, how are parents supposed to help their children with their learning, when everything has changed? Let me share with you the most common statement that I hear from parents

“I want to help my child, but it’s all changed. How do I help them?”

This is where the Literate Kids workshops can help. We show parents how they can help with their child’s learning. These workshops are parent friendly and very informative. It is our mission to help as many parents as possible, by providing them with the knowledge, the confidence and the ability to help their child and enhance their child’s learning.

TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE WORKSHOP
  • Parents’ concerns
  • Children’s Fears and Confidence battles
  • Learning Styles
  • Misunderstood children
  • Why are children falling behind and slipping under the radar?
  • Learning difficulties
  • Homework- How much is too much?
